Looking for a Church Of God

Not to long ago, I was asked to get a quote a website for a few different "Church of God" churches in Kentucky. Well, the first thing I wanted to do was research and check out what others through out Kentucky were doing for their Religious Organization. While I was able to find many different churches in Ky, I did have a little trouble finding a good resource for Just Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) Churches. So, What did I do.........

With all of the Trouble I had finding the information I was looking for, I decided it was time to do something about it. The Question is "WHAT needs to be done, and HOW".......

The first step was to find an appropriate Domain, therefore, I went on over to domain.pewebhost.com and began my search. I already knew that kycog.org, kychog.org, and kychogy.org all belong to the Kentucky Church of God Ministries. Therefore, since this new site is intended as a Directory Listing for Church of God Churches in Kentucky, I decided on kycogdirectory.com for domain name.

Now, that I have the domain name, it was time to start developing the site itself. This project started because I didn't know all of the appropriate information for each Church, therefore, my Directory must be User manageable. Meaning, Pastors and Church delegates must be able to enter their information into the directory.

What information should be should be listed though???? I thought the following would be a good start...

Church Name
Location
Web Address
Contact Information
Pastor's Name
What Facilities are available
Other Ministries
Other Ministers
Map Integration for for Driving Directions
Search Function

At a Later Date, I think I would like to Add some additional information and searching tools. Items such as an integrated proximity search, or a Location search based. Be sure and Let others know about http://www.kycogdirectory.com , because it will be very important to have good accurate information about each Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) Church in Kentucky.

So, What do you think, Is this a project worth undertaking, or should I just let it die (Doubt this will happen). Also, What other Information would you like to see on the Directory itself.
